The Sr. Technical Manager of Test Systems is responsible for creating and maintaining OCLC's non-functional test strategy. This will help ensure OCLC's services meet its requirements for production readiness, including SLA compliance, reliability, availability, and scalability. The incumbent will also create, manage and maintain the integrity and currency of the performance infrastructure, data, test tools and scripts to ensure proper measurements can be obtained across all environments. Lead teams across multiple locations to optimize non-functional testing in support of OCLC systems and ntify Best Practices for use in OCLC as it relates to non-functional, Performance and Load testing iew technical specifications and provide work rdinate the test execution scheduling, preparation, execution and performance monitoring in multiple rdination and execute multiple load and stress tests on an ongoing basis to validate changes in the system have not caused any degradation of lyze existing load test platforms, performance data and rdinate collecting/creating the test definition and data vide expertise, guidance and assistance with load testing parameters (i.e. ramp up, user counts, workload requirements, calculations, etc).Create test strategies, test plans, re-usable test scenarios and associated ist in post implementation, continuous improvement efforts to enhance system ntify product performance issues during new product ate and maintain test tools to ensure proper measurements can be obtained across all form performance evaluations and continues coaching to direct duce and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) around the testing performed within the elop strong working relationships with Development, Engineering and Operations leads to foster a team age a continuous process improvement program within the team. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline. At least 6+ years managing medium to large technology-based ong knowledge of QA methodology is required Strong team leadership skills with engineering and test personnel. Proven experience in developing and driving change within a technology Organization. Extensive Experience communicating status and ideas with all levels of an vice-Oriented Architecture knowledge is required. A background in development is a plus.
